New Library Building Story

Library Building arrives August 2007
<--------
Wiring and insulation were installed
Luan wood was then chosen for the wall covering New Library with Roofed Porch is now ready ( June 2008) to move in all the center books and set up the new office!  There will be a research computer and desk for working and also a small AC!
We wish to thank Barbara and Ted Wall for their hours of loving work over a 6 week period  to help create this new little building. they led our Dhamma Sukha Construction Crew to glory!  The results are wonderful A Small Japanese Garden might be built just outside the door under the porch roof!

Exercise Hut and Kuti for one!

It was decided in the summer 2007 that the Geodesic Dome will be used as the exercise hut for personal yoga, working out on step, universal machine, single trampoline for jogging, and possibly double as a winter seeding greenhouse for the garden in the early spring . It can also be used as a single person kuti for retreat, as long as we can still go there to exercise! <grin>
A person can sit and watch the woods out the 6 foot high window that is nearly 12 feet across on one side. It's  a great sunrise.

Special thanks goesto Barbara Wall who took the time to put the Universal machine together and to Sister Khema who went back to Walmart 4 times for additional parts! it was fun!  A splendid adventure in Patience!

Free weights are kept in a cabinet there and hand weights and exercise books demonstrating programs are available. It's a very nice area. Hanging plants are going to be added gradually.

New Bathrooms

The new bathroom/laundry/and small health sauna room  began in the fall of 2007. It looked like this. There was a call to arms to raise some money and now

Now the woodland bathrooms look like this on the outside.

Two bathrooms are completed.
One has a bath tub for soaking sore limbs!

The other one has a fully accessible open shower stall in support of the nearby Disability cabin.

The rear of the building has a laundry facility AND a small closet styled workroom for sharpening tools and keeping rakes and tools in orderly fashion and locked up.
